poundcake, with blueberries

In the past I have made Blueberry Poundcake.  Then Ella made plain poundcake for our New Years Eve fondue, and I froze the leftovers.  She used the recipe from Canadian Living.

Today she was rummaging around for an after school snack before soccer practice.  In this poundcake, the blueberries are on top, not inside the cake.  We did this:

  • took a slice of the poundcake
  • drizzled on Summerland Sweets Blueberry Syrup
  • threw some blueberries (frozen) on top

Ella proclaimed this such a resounding success that she asked for another piece.  Whew.  Dodged another 12 year old bullet.
