perfect sunday morning

Every Sunday morning, my husband makes us brunch.  He is an expert at poached eggs, and I look forward to his brunch every week.  It helps get me out of bed on Sunday morning.

Pictured are two perfectly poached eggs on ciabatta bread.  (Yes, there is a ciabatta theme going on here).  And lovely hashbrowns made by me – my most delectable yet.

I have found the secret to fabulous hashbrowns.  Use previously-baked potatoes.  Fry in a ton of butter, fresh rosemary and tons of salt and pepper, but drain the butter once they start to brown.  Fry on low heat for a very long time.  They will be golden on the outside and soft inside.
